What do small businesses need? Wenta support National Enterprise Network's manifesto
Wenta are delighted to confirm their support to a new national paper which outlines key ways in which our country can continue to support and enhance enterprise and enterprise support services.
The paper, entitled 'Enterprise, the economy and society' has been published by the National Enterprise Network, the membership body representing the enterprise support sector across England.
Wenta believe that the five policies outlined in the paper clearly outline how to retain and build on entrepreneurial strengths - a key objective to Wenta's work across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
The policies focus on what Wenta believe are important improvements for the future - to:
- Support an increase in the number and proportion of micro and small businesses
- Support people starting new businesses to succeed; reducing the number of business failures and cessations
- Ensure that the benefits of the recovery are shared
- Minimise the burden of red tape on people starting and running businesses
- Ensure enterprise is seen as a vital part of British life
Explaining its reasons for supporting the paper, Steve McAteer - Chief Executive of Wenta said,
"As a long standing organisation working to support current and future businesses in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, we know how important dedicated support for small businesses is and we are delighted to support this national manifesto. National Enterprise Network has reflected on the status of the national enterprise support arena and we are keen to reiterate these important considerations in support of the small businesses we work with, as well as for businesses across the country."
