Wenta Sponsor SME Bedfordshire Business Awards 2024
The Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce kicked off their annual SME Bedfordshire Business Awards on Wednesday 17th January with a launch event held at The Pavilion in Luton.
The Wenta team attended as part of Wenta’s platinum sponsorship of this year’s awards and will be on the judging panel in March. Wenta are proudly sponsoring two awards, ‘The Best Enterprising Business Award’ and ‘Action Zero’ sustainability Award.
Introduced by Justin Richardson, CEO of the Chamber, Wenta, along with other sponsors such as UniSnacks, Aegis Support Services, Barnfield College and London Luton Airport, were presented with a certificate of recognition for the support.
Small businesses across the Bedfordshire county can enter up to three awards categories and are actively encouraged to enter three if they can. The established business awards cover a wide spectrum of categories from ‘Bedford Business of the Year’ and ‘Luton Business of the Year’ to ‘Retail Business of the Year’, allowing businesses to shine in areas such as innovation, sustainability, customer service and more.
Showcasing your Bedfordshire small business and unique business journey through the awards is a fantastic way to garner exceptional marketing and PR opportunities. It could potentially open doors for national recognition and help you to grow your business even further. Details for each of the categories and how to enter can be found here.
Jennifer Condon, Director of Client Services and Engagement at Wenta and one of the judges on the panel this year commented:
“Wenta are excited to be part of this year’s SME Bedfordshire Business Awards, working together with The Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce. Having been involved with these awards in the past, we’ve seen the many benefits that these awards can bring for business owners. These range from excellent networking and marketing opportunities to a boost in great PR and a door to growth opportunities. Whether you have just recently started a business or have been running your business for years, there is a category for everyone.”
Following the launch event, there will be a networking session for any business owners that wish to enter the awards on Thursday 14th February at Wrest Park Enterprise in Silsoe, where awards entrants can find our more information and learn top-tips on putting together a winning submission.
