Wenta announces new CEO!

We are very pleased to announce the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for our group.

Steve McAteer is to be appointed as CEO for The Wenta Group, commencing from the 1st February 2015.

Steve is currently a Director of Deyton Bell Ltd and was previously Partnerships and Communications Director at Exemplas. Steve has also been a Non-Executive Director on the main Wenta board since 2009. He said:

“I am very much looking forward to this new role. My focus will be on business development, business and marketing strategy for the future and ensuring that we balance the commercial opportunities available to us and Wenta’s ultimate social purpose of supporting start-up businesses in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.”

From 1st February 2015, Chris Pichon, will step back from his active role at Wenta and will concentrate on chairing both the Wenta main board and the National Enterprise Network board.

Wenta is the leading enterprise agency for Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. The new appointment will play a key role in the continuation of delivering business start-up support, mentoring, training and business premise services to the local region.
