What does your business do?

Pairio is a tech start-up that provides a 3D scanning service that in turn creates a digital twin of properties either owned privately or by landlords. We gather information about the property beyond that of the scan to gain a true understanding of how the building is constructed. We document all of this information on our platform and store information all the way down to the smallest detail and provide useful insights such as when the boiler is next due for a service and help to arrange that for you.

We then utilise this data within our platform to allow the property owner to find tradesmen and suppliers for any property maintenance or renovation projects. We, therefore, reduce the need for trades to visit the property, reduce the miles travelled in often heavily polluting vehicles, and reduce emissions and air pollution. Our platform allows tradespeople to create digital quotes that can be compared against other tenderers.

Our platform can be used by all key stakeholders within the properties lifecycle from estate agents, letting agents, property managers, house builders and residential developers, architects and other construction professionals.

Why is sustainability important for your business?

Construction as a whole is a heavily polluting industry, whilst efforts are being made in larger scale projects there is still a need to reduce carbon emissions throughout the supply chain, right down to the smaller contractors. Pairio enables real change within the industry, as we set out to create a platform that transforms the way construction projects are priced and managed, sustainability is at the core of what we want to achieve, and we aim to have a fleet of completely electric cars from the outset, use public transport where we can and think about ways our data can benefit the environment in other ways. 

What support have you received from Wenta?

To date, we have attended webinars on various topics and taken part in online training in the form of the Action Zero course, where we are currently up to the silver accreditation and working towards gold. What really stands out to me with Wenta is the 1:1 business support, Michael Martin one of Wenta’s Business Advisors has been invaluable in his support for our business, he has been there to answer all the questions that we have had to date. We are currently going through a funding round and his knowledge and wisdom has made the whole process much easier than it would have been without his support. I now see Michael as more of a friend and mentor and I look forward to every single meeting with him.
