Until this gap is closed, the majority of business owners will blissfully ‘keep calm and carry on’ as normal, without playing their part in the climate emergency. This is wrong.

The fact that this support is out there for small businesses and sole-traders is refreshing, as we can’t afford ££ consultants to bring us up to speed on the fundamentals.

This programme needs to become compulsory for all UK SMEs.

The Wenta Action Zero campaign has given me the confidence to join the conversation, not just with my clients, but also on social media, including LinkedIn where I have made new connections in the ESG space.

My learning around Net Zero has opened up a whole new community of brand and marketing specialists who no longer want to be part of the problem – driving consumerism that is damaging our planet – and instead want to use their communication and influencing skills to educate their audiences to make better choices.

This chimes perfectly with what I have always been about – making it easy for everyone to understand the role they play in the bigger picture and their role on a shared mission to make positive change happen together.

No matter what business or sector you’re in – the most engaging marketing content there is ‘rights a wrong’ and rallies people together to make things better.

This is what empowers purpose-led people and organisations.
