5 Wenta clients nominated in Hertfordshire Business Awards

5 clients based in Wenta-operated business centres have been listed as finalists in the 2016 Hertfordshire Business Awards.

The awards, which are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year having started in 1996, recognise and reward the county’s best and most promising businesses.

The Hertfordshire Business Awards state: “To this day Hertfordshire remains a pinnacle for business in the home counties and the awards are now the prestigious honour any of our local businesses can retain.”

5 Wenta clients have been listed as finalists in various categories at this year’s awards.

4 of these clients are based in the btc, the Business and Technology Centre in Stevenage, an inspiring enterprise hub owned by Stevenage Borough Council and managed by Wenta.

Nominated in both the Small Business of the Year and Customer Service Award categories is Lawrence Dean Recruitment. Lawrence Dean Recruitment, who have previously won Small Business of the Year at the Hertfordshire Business Awards, have been based at the btc since 2010 and have grown from two people to a team of over ten at the btc

Also nominated in the Small Business of the Year category is Alliance Scaffolding, a Wenta Watford client of over two years.

Care By Us, the family-run home care company have been nominated in the Large Business of the Year category and Sporting Futures have been listed as finalists in the Supporting Young People Award.

In the hotly contested category of Business Person of the Year is Hannah Rees from AIM Sales and Marketing. Hannah told us:

“It is an honour to be a finalist in the KPMG Hertfordshire Business Awards 2016, especially as it marks their 20th anniversary.

AIM Sales and Marketing are based at the btc and have been a Wenta client for well over a year now. The business growth this year for the company has been phenomenal, we have grown to a team of five and we’re moving into larger premises in December.

“To be a finalist reflects the tremendous work of not only the team but the results we have provided to local businesses in Hertfordshire. We are looking forward to the award ceremony on the 24th November!”

We wish all our clients the very best of luck and congratulations for receiving recognition for all their hard work, dedication and professionalism.

The winners will be announced at a black tie gala dinner which takes place on the 24th of November at Knebworth House.

The Hertfordshire Business Awards are organised by Archant, headline sponsors of the awards are KPMG and associate partner of the awards in Stevenage Borough Council. Watford and West Herts Chamber are supporters of the award ceremony.
