Kallos Acupuncture is a holistic and wellness aesthetics practice founded by Mariah Sayer, specialising in cosmetic acupuncture, facial rejuvenation and restorative therapies. Her practice is built around the idea that true beauty and well-being come from balance — helping clients feel and look their best through natural, authentic treatments.

Mariah’s background in beauty, wellness and film refined her sense of detail and harmony, but it was her own health challenges that led her to Traditional Chinese Medicine. Discovering cosmetic acupuncture as a way to bring health and beauty together inspired her to create Kallos — a calming space devoted to authentic therapies, quiet restoration and radiance that endures.

Mariah reached out to Wenta through the London Borough of Barnet Business Start-up Programme, which provides free advice, mentoring and training to help local entrepreneurs succeed. Funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), the programme supports start-ups and growing businesses with practical guidance across all areas — from planning and finance to marketing and sustainability.

Through the programme, Mariah attended several business webinars and recorded sessions covering topics such as finance, booking systems and business structure. She says the support has been invaluable in helping her plan effectively and gain confidence as a new business owner.

“The webinars provided clarity on business planning and finance,” she explains. “They helped me strengthen the foundations of my practice.”

With the confidence gained from Wenta’s support, Mariah now looks ahead to an exciting future for Kallos Acupuncture. Her goal is to secure workplace wellness contracts and open a second practice in St Albans by 2026, continuing to grow her client base while staying true to her holistic values.
