Barnet Client Story: QAF Volt
“Wenta helped me refine my business plan, understand funding options, and move forward with greater confidence.” Hummayra Tajrian Adiba, QAF Volt
As electric vehicles become increasingly common across the UK, reliable charging infrastructure is more important than ever. For Barnet-based founder Hummayra Tajrian Adiba, that growing need sparked the idea behind her new venture, QAF Volt.
Set to launch officially in April 2026, QAF Volt operates in the energy and transport sector, providing end-to-end EV charger installation and management services for homes, flats, workplaces and small businesses.
Hummayra explains what drove her to start the company:
“I was inspired by the rapid growth of electric vehicles and the lack of convenient, reliable charging solutions. I started QAF Volt to help close this gap and support the transition to cleaner, more sustainable transport.”
With a clear mission in mind, she wanted expert guidance to make sure her business was built on strong foundations from the outset. That search for support led her to Wenta through the Barnet Council website.

Getting the Right Start-Up Support
Through the London Borough of Barnet Business Start-up Programme delivered by Wenta, Hummayra accessed a range of free resources designed to help new businesses prepare for launch — including webinars, advice from experienced advisers and a certified business course.
She says:
“I reached out to Wenta for expert guidance on funding, strategy, and building a strong foundation for my business.”
The practical support quickly began to shape her plans:
“Wenta helped me refine my business plan, understand funding options, and move forward with greater confidence.”
For a founder preparing to enter a competitive and fast-moving sector, that clarity and reassurance has been invaluable.
Looking Ahead
With launch on the horizon, Hummayra is focused on scaling QAF Volt’s services and building long-term partnerships across the region.
She outlines her ambitions:
“My future plans are to expand EV charger installations for homes and businesses, build long-term partnerships, and grow QAF Volt into a trusted EV charging solutions provider while supporting the UK’s transition to clean transport.”
As more people and organisations make the switch to electric vehicles, businesses like QAF Volt will play a key role in supporting greener travel locally and Wenta’s early-stage support is helping to turn that vision into a practical, viable enterprise.
