Barnet Client Story: Impact On The Go Circle (IOTG CIrcle)
"Wenta’s support has helped me build confidence in my offer, my proposals, and my identity as a business, even while still building traction. This mindset shift has been essential in accelerating early conversations, partnerships and contracts." – Abosede Alaka, Impact On The Go Circle (IOTG CIrcle)
When Abosede Alaka launched Impact On The Go Circle (IOTG Circle) in January 2025, she had a powerful vision: to equip people with practical, real-world skills they could use immediately in work, education, and everyday life.
Operating in the community development, employability and skills-training space, her business delivers scenario-based workshops that help young people and adults build confidence, communicate effectively, and navigate challenging situations. As Abosede explains: “Impact On The Go Circle makes practical tools for confidence, self-advocacy, and inclusion visible, accessible and teachable.”
Using theatre-style enactment and guided peer reflection, IOTG Circle creates safe, immersive environments where participants rehearse real-life scenarios and leave with behaviours they can apply straight away, not just abstract theory. Since starting up, Abosede has delivered sessions across universities, community organisations, youth programmes and SEND settings, supporting underrepresented students, autistic learners and young people exploring STEM pathways.

But as demand grew, Abosede recognised that turning a strong concept into a sustainable, scalable business required the right support.
Through the London Borough of Barnet Business Start-up Programme delivered by Wenta, she accessed tailored one-to-one support designed to help early-stage businesses lay strong foundations and grow with confidence.
She says: “Having transitioned from independent consulting into building a scalable training and workshops model, I wanted practical guidance to strengthen my offer, clarify my positioning, and ensure the business was set up sustainably from the outset.”

Working with Wenta adviser Michael Martin, Abosede received personalised guidance across several areas, from refining her service offer and website messaging to understanding financial projections and preparing for partnerships and contracts.
Abosede highlights the value of that real-world insight: “His guidance has been particularly valuable at the early growth stage, covering areas such as refining my service offer, strengthening my website messaging, understanding financial projections, and preparing for contracts and partnerships.”
“What made the support especially effective is Michael’s prior experience running a similar type of business earlier, and his career. His insight into what works, and what to avoid, has helped me save time and avoid common mistakes,” she adds.

Alongside one-to-one mentoring, Wenta’s wider resources played a role too: “Wenta’s wider resources, including practical guides and free webinars, provide a strong foundation for anyone new to business, self-employment, or freelancing, and help cement essential knowledge early on.”
Looking Ahead
With stronger foundations in place, Impact On The Go Circle is now focused on expanding its two core strands: working with organisations and founder programmes on inclusion and wellbeing, and embedding workshops into community, youth and charity employability pathways.
Abosede is also exploring partnerships for immersive learning spaces and plans to establish a charitable or social-impact arm to widen access to her services:
“As the work scales, establishing a charitable or social impact arm will be essential to enable subsidised or fully funded delivery for beneficiaries who would not otherwise be able to access this support.”
Becoming a trusted delivery partner and grant-funded provider is central to that growth — and the support received through Wenta and Barnet’s business programme is helping to make those ambitions a reality.
