Your host Michal Siewniak:
I have been working in a Community and Voluntary sector for the last 18 years. In the last 7-8 years, as the Big Local Programme Manager, I led a number of Community Alliances Broxbourne and East Herts (CABEH) resident and community engagement projects. I helped to deliver engagement programmes on behalf of CABEH with key statutory partners across Broxbourne and East Herts (e.g. Councils, health and housing). I have helped to write and submit a number of funding applications in my paid employment and several volunteering roles with e.g. Polish, Ukrainian and other minority ethnic groups across Hertfordshire
In addition, I am a Local Councillor and a Deputy Mayor and I have a good understanding of the political context of the funding landscapes, also as a former Chair of the Grants Committee. Overall, I have managed a lot of local, county wide and regional projects which brought a lot of outcomes and made a tangible impact in the community.
