Wenta Enfield Networking Event: Connecting Local Businesses

Our latest networking event at the Wenta Business Centre in Enfield took place on Friday, 29 August 2025 — and we are pleased to say it was a great success.

Local small business owners and professionals gathered for a productive and friendly morning of networking. The event provided an opportunity to connect with others in the area, share ideas and learn more about the support available through Wenta.

We were joined by Michael Martin, Wenta’s Head of Net Zero and Advisor Team Manager, who delivered an informative talk on the free business support services available to small businesses. This includes One-to-one advice sessions, workshops, training, marketing guidance and Net Zero support — all designed to help businesses at every stage of their journey. If you are looking for tailored support, book a free business advice session with Wenta today.

Also present on the day was Michael Cheung, Net Zero and Business Advisor at Wenta, who spent time chatting with attendees and offering practical guidance to those looking for advice on starting, growing or making their business more sustainable.

Vicki Hewitt, Centre Manager at Enfield, gave an overview of the Wenta Business Centre itself and the full range of facilities on offer. Located in the heart of Innova Park, the centre provides flexible workspace, meeting and training rooms, call answering and mailbox services, and business advice delivered both onsite and online. Offices and workshops are available on easy-in, easy-out monthly terms, allowing businesses to adapt as they grow. The centre also hosts regular events and has its own onsite café. Interested in workspace? Book a viewing at Wenta Enfield to explore your options.

As part of the session, we held an open microphone segment where attendees could introduce their businesses, speak briefly about their work and connect with others in the room. This informal format sparked some great conversations and new contacts.

Throughout the morning, guests enjoyed complimentary refreshments including tea, coffee and light snacks. It was a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for sparking new ideas and collaborations.

We were also thrilled to welcome a special guest: Coco Jumbo, the superhero-themed bakery brand that’s been making waves with their New York-style chunky cookies. Known for their imaginative branding and joyful mission, Coco Jumbo brought something a little different to the event — and their delicious cookies certainly added to the buzz in the room. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the morning such a positive experience.

We are proud to support our local business community here in Enfield and look forward to hosting more events like this in the near future.
