Action Zero

A new programme launched in response to the closure of the Stellantis (Vauxhall) plant — supporting the Luton community to explore self-employment and strengthen the local economy.

Funded by Luton Borough Council, delivered by Wenta and Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce, this 12-month programme is open to anyone in Luton who wants to explore self-employment, start a business or take their next step after redundancy.

While the closure of the van production plant deeply impacted the town, this programme isn’t just for former Stellantis employees — it’s designed to support all Luton residents who are ready to move forward and create new opportunities.
