The Wenta Business Centre - Watford fundraises over £550 for The Peace Hospice charity

Wenta staff and businesses based at The Wenta Business Centre, Watford have raised over £550 for local charity, Peace Hospice Care - an organisation dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients and families facing a life limiting illness by providing care and support.

On the 25^th July, the Wenta team held a ‘fish and chips business community event and raffle’ in aid of Peace Hospice Care, an occasion to bring the 40+ small businesses based at the centre together for networking and food in the sun.

Earlier in the month, the staff team at Wenta took part in a group fundraising ‘sing-off’ at their Away Day, where all teams performed a song of their choice. The winning team sung their own version of The Backstreet Boys’ ‘I Want It That Way’ and chose Peace Hospice Care as their chosen charity also. The £550 is on its way over to Peace Hospice Care and Wenta are planning a number of charitable events across their other centres in the forthcoming months.
