Got a business idea that’s ready to go? Just launched something exciting in Stevenage? There’s a new grant designed to help you get moving.
The Stevenage Start-Up Grant is now live – offering between £500 and £2,000 in funding for pre-start and early-stage small businesses based in Stevenage. It’s non-repayable and flexible, covering both capital and revenue costs to help you build, grow and create local impact.
This grant is part of a bigger effort from Stevenage Borough Council to support the town’s business community. It’s open to:
- Pre-starts who are nearly ready to register
- Early-stage businesses trading for under 3 years
- Local social enterprises making a difference

Before you apply, you’ll need to have had recent support from Wenta or Hertfordshire Growth Hub.
